IDS combines state-of-the-art equipment with decades of expertise and development to provide the most efficient deicing program available.
All IDS trucks and booms employ the use of Forced Air fluid injection (into forced air), and low flow nozzle applications provide a safe and effective way to remove contamination. These applications are very effective in reducing the consumption of glycol, at times by as much as 25%, reducing disposal costs and minimizing environmental impact.
IDS' "Check-n-GO" method consists of pulsing the application of deicing fluid to allow a very efficient, highly effective fluid application. This allows better visibility when steam and mist settle, ensures accurate delivery of deicing fluid, and reduces fluid use while still ensuring a safe, successful and timely deicing.
Our Ice Guard Deicing Optimization Program provides real-time data on all aspects of the deicing operation, from pad performance metrics to gallons applied per aircraft, accessible over the Web to IDS’ management and customer base.
